Parents, please check your child's take home folder every night.  It is most important that your child read every night for at least 20 minutes, and that the Reading Log is signed.

Reading: Our new theme is "Nature Links" with 5 new stories about how nature can give us ideas in our lives.

Grammar: We will identify nouns, common & proper, singular & plural, possessives, and will proofread sentences.

Math: We are adding greater numbers, relating addition & subtraction, subtracting and regrouping.

Communities: We will begin to look at Native Americans & how they've changed over time, the early colonies, why people moved West in the 1800's, & immigrant communities.

Religion: We will read about the early Church, the Church year & seasons & ordinary time.

Our first Book Report will be a Mystery due in October
