REUNION SNAPSHOTS
Photos from “A Night to Remember - A Celebration of St. Edward School’s 45th Anniversary.” More than 200 alumni, current and former faculty members and administrators, parents and friends came together for a spirited reunion in November, 2006.

Thank You!
A very big "thank you" to all of those who helped make the Mass and Reception on November 25, 2007 in "appreciation of the Sisters of Mercy for their contribution to St. Edward School on the occasion of Sister Patrice Ward's
 retirement" such a special day.
More than 250 people were in attendance, including 50 Sisters of Mercy.  Father Thomas M. Fusco, pastor, presented Sister Patrice with the "Spirit of St. Edward Award" at the end of Mass for her extraordinary service to the parish. Sister Patrice served in St. Edward School for 33 years and retired as Assistant Principal in August, 2007.
Following Mass, a reception and ceremony took place in the gym. Father Tom began the presentation by recognizing all the Sisters of Mercy in attendance. He then introduced those present who had served on the faculty of St. Edward School during its 46-year history: Sr. Anita Boegel, Sr. Helen Anne Ebbitt, Sr. Dorothy Flynn, Sr. Margaret Anne
Hartigan, Sr. Barbara McKenna (formerly Sr. M. Grignion), Sr. Madeline Moore (formerly Sr. M. Stanislaus), Sr. Mary Ann Noonan (formerly Sr. M. Agnes), Sr. Patricia O'Connell (formerly Sr. Columba) and Sr. Patrice Ward.

Two very special gifts were presented at the ceremony. A watercolor print of Catherine McAuley, the founder of the Sisters of Mercy, was dedicated to the Sisters who had served in our school. A new statue of  St. Patrick was dedicated to Sister Patrice. The print and statue will be on permanent display in the school as a reminder of all that these women have contributed to St. Edward's.

The students also presented Sister Patrice with a scrapbook of letters and special memories and performed a special song written in honor of Sister by Mr. Tom DeBrino, the school's music teacher. The ceremony ended with a beautiful video presentation about the Sisters of Mercy and Sister Patrice created by Mr. and Mrs. Don MacAvoy.
